CARDI was designed with the philosophy of ‘Appropriate durability’: creating sustainable products with a shorter lifespan while ensuring easy disposal and recycling. This approach leverages consumer-convenience purchasing behaviour to create a more sustainable product without forcing long-term use.

In this group project undertaken for a prominent British sofa retailer, I co-led the study of systems flow diagram and the brand’s supply chain, uncovering opportunities for materials and suppliers' suggestions in line with the team’s vision and considerate with the brand’s current operations. I estimated the product cost and space needed for storage and transport and designed a forecast-based manufacturing strategy. Our group won 2nd best project out of 16.
